Goldin Properties Ltd. is building their new headquarters in Tianjin, China. And they are going big! New office skyscraper will be 597m (1957ft) tall with 117 floors. Architects and engineers from P&T Group designed this monster in 2008. Completion date is set for 2014. By then, Tianjin 117 Tower also known as Goldin Finance 117 will be one of the tallest towers in China and one of the tallest in the world. "
The port city of Tianjin enjoyed the International exposure and trade linking with major European countries at the turn of the last century. The architecture in the city reflects this period and influence.German, French, English architectural styles and more still define the old city center along the river. Linked recently by a high speed rail to Beijing, Tianjin is now enjoying major new developments.
Located in the South-west of Tianjin, the vast Goldin Metropolitan project comprises a central business district (CBD), a large high-end residential area and an International Polo Club, with the site area of 1,920,000 sq.m.
The focal point of the Central Business District is the iconic 597 meters tall, 117 storey Goldin Finance Tower, which provides international Grade A office accommodation and a 350 rooms five star luxury hotel at the 9-the tower.
Characterized by its bold and tapering form, and a rhythm of sky lobbies, the tower is crowned by a diamond shaped top that houses a revolving restaurant and exclusive dining facilities.
Designed to international standards, the tower is served by double decker lift throughout. The tower is to be clad in an aluminum and sliver reflecting glass curtain wall.
Retail facilities frame the tower to the east and west and provides a generously and spacious entrance court and sense of arrival."
