This beautiful Red Canape restaurant, part of the Graffiti Gallery Hotel in Varna, Bulgaria, is work of designer Georgi Sharkov. Brown and red colors are dominating through the restaurant interiors while large green wall with living grass brings contrast and freshness working well with the wood at the same time. You can expect warm and welcoming atmosphere at any time.

"Graffit Gallery Hotel is located in one of the busiest and most romantic downtown areas of the city of Varna. The building consists of six above-ground and two underground floors serving different public purposes, including a five-star hotel, three food and entertainment establishments (”Red Canape “ Restaurant, “Graffiti Café” and “Case” Club), a Gallery for Contemporary Art, a Children’s Art School and an underground parking area."

Interiors are big part of everyone's life. No matter is it your private space or public space, we're always more comfortable in well designed interior space. This cafe is part of Graffiti Gallery Hotel located in Verna, Bulgaria. Those impressive interiors are designed by the Bulgaria-based MODE Design Studio.

It's widely known that wood is warm and welcoming material, therefore, perfect for public places like this, where owners want their customers to return. Designers from MODE Design Studio did an amazing job in completion of this task.

A few words from the lead designer of MODE Design Studio about the project:

"We brought elements and materials of the building’s façade into the front zone of the café and applied them to the ceiling. We also used sidewalk pavers on the interior floors. This draws the textures of the street into the café, while connecting the profile of the building envelope to the café."

This interesting piece of modern architecture was competition entry for the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. Like any other big city, Sofia has its own metro line. Architects from Peter Ruge Architekten saw the potential to do something beautiful. They designed new metro line 1 station called Station 20 for 120,000 daily passengers.

"The sites linear structure is inspired by the pattern and scale of the neighbouring high-density housing blocks of the Druzhba residential quarter. The angular direction of the landscape reflects the natural structure of the site boundary, generating a visual language that informs the division of public spaces and creates pathways, guiding pedestrian flow to and from the station.

Main entry to Station 20’s underground concourse level is accessed via a vast corner plaza, providing a public space for circulation between the station services and the existing bus service infrastructure. The sweeping canopy of the entrance hall emerges out of the landscape as a wave, simultaneously pulling the structure up as it pushes the plaza down into the ground to meet with the level of the concourse. Finely cast steel elements with a non-flammable canvas lining stretched underneath, create an elegant structure and a glowing interior, achieved through concealed and integrated lighting."

Today we received interesting concept design for hotel room in Bulgaria by Branimira Ivanova & Desislava Ivanova of Gemelli Design Studio. Take a look how girls imagined combination of orange and green colors.

"The basic concept of this space is the converting of the flat surfaces – walls, ceiling - into a three-dimensional sculpture. With the use of luxury ceramic tiles for this sculpture the room turns into a curious and exciting space.

To become an entire organism we decide to use colored textile that looks like the texture of the tiles."
