Modern House At Amalfi Drive by BGD Architects
BGD Architects designed this modern house at Amalfi Drive in Queensland, the second-largest and third-most populous state in Australia.
Amalfi Drive residence is modern house design for young Australian family in searching for their dream home. First thing people notice is how ground floor is actually lifted from the ground and starts on the concrete pedestal with terrace and 25 meters long narrow swimming pool. Combination of naked concrete, glass and wood created nice diversity in materials on modern exterior facade.
The same thing is happening in interior design where warm eye pleasing brown color of wood creates nice contrast to large modern glass windows, white walls and naked concrete ceilings along with marble furniture and other high end materials in the house.
